The Alpine iNE‑AW409S supports steering wheel control learning and programming, allowing buttons to be customised for easy access to audio, navigation, and communication features. This integration ensures safe, hands-on operation while driving. Functions such as volume, track selection, phone answering, and voice commands can be assigned to the steering wheel buttons. The system is compatible with resistive type systems, vehicles using CAN-BUS and other protocols will require a 3rd party adapter.
