FOCAL ISS170 are great Audiophile quality speakers ideal for some vehicles as factory replacements that fit this size. Some Nissan/Honda/Toyota fit this type.
Focal applies the same technology they use in their studio and audiophile-grade home systems to their Integration line of car speakers. The Integration ISS 170 component system includes 6-3/4″ woofers with cones made from Polyglass, a material that combines the warm sound of cellulose with the strength of glass, so they’ll play accurately with no added resonances.
Each separate Integration processed aluminum inverted dome tweeter features a built-in phase plug and wave guide, which act together to increase the power of high-frequency notes and improve the stereo soundstage. Focal includes a low-profile surface mount and an angled mount so you can set up the tweeter for the best possible imaging in your vehicle.
The crossover networks are built-in, so you don’t have those extra boxes to install. Low-profile Integration speakers allow you to put Focal sound quality and construction into your vehicle, so you can enjoy a dramatic jump in performance over your old speakers. Grilles are not included; factory grilles are appropriate for most installations.
Installation note: You’ll need a pair of our universal backstraps to install the tweeters in the factory locations.
